This is fight between truth and lies; truth on our side: Rahul Gandhi in Gujarat



NANA PONDHA, GUJARAT: Drawing a relationship with the Pandava-Kaurava tussle in the epic Mahabharata, Congress VP Rahul Gandhi said today that the battle between his gathering and the BJP in Gujarat was one amongst "truth and untruths", where reality lay on the Congress' side.

Gandhi said that while the prime minster was outfitted with his "administration, police, armed force, governments in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh", he had truth on his side "and we don't require anything other than truth".

"The battle is amongst truth and falsehoods. Kauravas had an enormous armed force, weapons, and Pandavas just had truth and that's it. I might want to disclose to you that we just have truth and that's it," he said at a rally at Nana Pondha town in the tribal-overwhelmed Valsad area.
