WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump have set out to battle against the worldwide scourge of psychological warfare together, the White House said after PM Modi offered his sympathies to Trump over telephone following the New York dread assault that left eight individuals dead and around twelve others harmed, the White House said.
PM Modi unequivocally censured psychological warfare, and offered contemplations and supplications for the casualties and their families, a readout of the call said.
"The two pioneers settled that India and the United States will keep on fighting together against the worldwide scourge of fear mongering," the White House said.
Prior in a tweet yesterday, PM Modi had censured the assault seen as the deadliest in New York since 9/11. "Firmly denounce the dread assault in New York City. My considerations are with the groups of the perished and petitions with those harmed," he said.
English Prime Minister Theresa May likewise talked with Trump over telephone, as per the White House. "President Trump and Prime Minister May concurred on the significance of nearer counterterrorism coordination between the United States and the United Kingdom," the White House said.
