Narendra Modi will visit Palestine, its agent says a day after Trump's Jerusalem gamechanger


Palestine's emissary to New Delhi, Adnan An Alihaij, said PM Narendra Modi would visit the locale, a day after Donald Trump made a questionable affirmation about Jerusalem that broke with many years of US arrangement. 

PM Narendra Modi will visit Palestine, its agent to New Delhi said a day after US President Donald Trump perceived Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

"I will report here and nobody before you realizes that Mr Modi will visit Palestine," the represetative, Adnan An Alihaij, revealed to Rajya Sabha TV. In any case, he didn't state when that visit would happen.

Alihaij, who was taking an interest in an exchange, said India has been steady of the Palestinian reason and the two-state arrangement.

Donald Trump's affirmation down and out with many years of US arrangement, set off a rush of conflicts amongst Palestinians and Israeli powers, and drew sharp feedback from US partners in the Middle East and beyond.Israel has since a long time ago considered Jerusalem its capital - which it sees as the antiquated capital of the Jewish individuals - however Palestine similarly make a case for the city.

They need its eastern piece of the city as capital of their future state.

India responded to Trump's declaration by saying its position on Palestine is autonomous, reliable and not controlled by any third nation.

"India's position on Palestine is free and predictable. It is molded by our perspectives and interests, and not dictated by any third nation," External Affairs Ministry representative Raveesh Kumar said.
